1. Product Overview: Hydrogen sulfide compressor is a special compressor specially used to treat process gas containing hydrogen sulfide (HS). Because hydrogen sulfide is flammable, and it is highly corrosive when dissolved in water to form hydrogen sulfate, this kind of compressor has very strict requirements in sealing, material corrosion prevention and safety design, aiming at achieving zero leakage, corrosion resistance and long-term stable operation.
2, performance characteristics:
High sealing and safety: According to the characteristics of hydrogen sulfide, the compressor design adopts multiple sealing technology. For example, large units adopt double-chamber gas protection structure, supplemented by nitrogen purging and sealing, so as to completely isolate hydrogen sulfide leakage. Diaphragm compressor relies on its structural advantages to achieve extremely low or even zero leakage rate and ensure production safety.
Strict material corrosion protection and special treatment: In order to prevent hydrogen sulfide corrosion (such as hydrogen embrittlement and intergranular corrosion), special materials and processes are required for key components (such as cylinders and piston rods) in contact with media. For example, the cylinder block is made of high-efficiency ductile iron instead of stainless steel to resist intergranular corrosion, or the piston rod is hardened by surface ceramics and hydrogen embrittlement prevention technology is adopted.
Oil-free or micro-oil lubrication design "In order to avoid pollution or chemical reaction caused by the mixing of lubricating oil and medium, most hydrogen sulfide compressors adopt oil-free lubrication design, that is, there is no need to inject oil into the cylinder, and the piston ring and other components made of self-lubricating materials work to ensure the purity of the medium.
Intelligent monitoring and interlock protection: the equipment is usually equipped with plc control system, which can monitor and control the compressor in real time and remotely through temperature, pressure and flow sensors arranged on cylinders, pipelines and bearings. Once the parameters are abnormal (for example, the exhaust temperature is too high and the oil pressure is too low), the system can automatically give an alarm and stop, thus realizing multiple safety interlock protection.
Various cooling methods: according to the process requirements and site conditions, air cooling, water cooling (open or closed) or mixed cooling methods can be selected to ensure that the temperature of gas can be controlled during compression.
Skid-mounted design: In order to facilitate transportation, installation and maintenance, the compressor main engine, motor, pipeline and control system of many compressors are integrated and installed on a common base, forming a skid-mounted structure.
3. Scope of application:
Petroleum refining: compress the sour gas rich in HS produced by hydrogenation unit, sour water stripping and sulfur recovery, and transport it to the downstream process unit.
Natural gas exploitation: It is used for exploitation and pressurization of sulfur-containing natural gas, which pressurizes the low-pressure acid gas in underground gas reservoirs for subsequent purification and transportation.
Chemical synthesis: As a key dynamic equipment, HS feed gas is compressed to the pressure required for the reaction, which is used to produce sulfur-containing chemical products such as methionine and t-dodecyl mercaptan (tdm).
Acid gas recovery: in the fields of natural gas desulfurization, coal chemical industry, waste gas treatment, etc., acid gas is compressed to facilitate the subsequent Claus sulfur recovery or other environmental protection treatment processes.
